We never use any deputising service to cover our out of hours care, which means that wherever your pet is seen, the vet will always have full access to their computerised medical records, ensuring that they receive the optimum Veterinary care available.

Being a privately owned practice, the directors who work as vets, take very personally the care that their clients and patients receive, and are passionate about building relationships with a dedicated Veterinary Team clients can trust.

The Royal Wootton Bassett branch is a registered PDSA PetAid practice.

This means we provide PDSA-funded care to help those with low incomes cover the costs of treatment when their pet is sick or has an injury.

To join the PetAid Scheme you must:

• live at an SN4 postcode

• be in receipt of means-tested Council Tax or Housing benefit

• come in for a registration check with the vet when your pet is fit and healthy

• fill in an application form, and provide proof of benefit and a postal order for £7.50 made payable to the PDSA to cover the access fee.

Once you receive your PDSA certificate, your pet will be eligible for PetAid assistance for the duration stated on the certificate. You will be reminded when it is due for renewal.

There are some services that are not covered by PetAid, for example, routine vaccinations and neuterings, of which more details will be provided at the registration consult.

The PDSA relies solely on public funding to help treat thousands of sick and injured animals each year.

If you can, please help the PDSA by making a donation towards the cost of your pet's treatments.

For more information on the scheme, please contact the surgery on 01793 852466.
