Imaging

Radiography ( X-Rays )  Ultrasonography ( Ultrasound Scans ) and Echocardiography (Heart Scan)  allow us to build a 'Picture' of the area of concern.

None of these tests are painful, but do require a relaxed and co-operative patient, so sedation or general anaesthesia may be required.

MRI & CT Scans can also be utilised.

Dave Rawlinson one of the partners, holds an RCVS Certificate in Diagnostic Imaging.

The Ultrasound probe needs direct skin contact, which means a small patch of fur must be shaved over the area of interest.
