Career Opportunities at Drove Vets

We do everything we can to make sure our team are happy – satisfied in their roles and with a great work life balance.

Why? Because it’s the right thing to do. Because we care about our people. And because it’s the best way to encourage the empathetic care we want for our patients.

The development of our team is something we’re passionate about and we support colleagues as individuals, providing flexible working patterns and structured career development.

Our out of hours is handled on site – and we’ll be taking it back in-house from September 2025, meaning emergency and hospital opportunities are there for those who want them, but shift work isn’t required for those who don’t. Win win.

We are a friendly, sociable and forward-thinking team and have active steering groups involved in our sustainability, clinical standards, wellbeing and social activities. And we hugely value a sense of humour!

We are a Tier 3 RCVS training hospital and are always looking for ambitious and passionate people to join our team, so please get in touch for a chat even if none of the vacancies shown below are a direct match.

Please send your CV to hr@drovevets.co.uk.

We’re recognised as a Great Workplace by the BVA

We are very proud to have been awarded silver accreditation under the BVA Great Workplaces scheme.

We were particularly commended for our commitment to flexible working, for making learning accessible for all team members, for establishing our mentoring system, and for prioritising physical and psychological wellbeing.

What really made us proud was the following feedback:

Many team members enjoy working at the practice with repeated comments such as “This is the best practice I’ve worked at” and “Everybody that’s here wants to be here. I love my job”.

We are using the report to continue to improve – both in the areas raised as opportunities and in continuing to excel at the things our team appreciates.

If you want to join a practice family where “a strong sense of belonging is evident” then please send your CV to hr@drovevets.co.uk.
